Son et Lumiere is french for “sound and light”. It is a sounds and lights show where special effects are projected against a building or ruins while narraration and music is played.

This blog simply exists as a collection of the observations of the lights and sounds of our world. In some ways, its a refuge and a sanctuary for my thoughts and opinions, however . Since positivity is delusional and negativity is suicidal, being neutral is bliss. Some say I am a downer, but is it not smarter to expose all the holes in the plane and patch them up before you take off? 

Although this page is generally a supplement to my twitter posts (@PureEm), which are updated far more often, Son Lumiere is where I will save the long rants against irrationality for. I do understand that it’s a very one sided arguement, and I really don’t have any hopes of winning. But if I am able to convince just one person that their stupidity and ignorance is not helpful, I will have done that much for the world.

As a preface to reading this blog, you should be aware that many of my opinions are unsafe for the common christian or the common conservative. Seems I’m too radical for them. When you read, keep an open mind. If a comment does not apply directly or indirectly to you, do not be offended. If you feel that a statement on my post is wrong or illogical, feel free to leave an EDUCATED explaination of your side of the story. If something does seem to describe you, take a good hard look at yourself before going on a rampage. Saves you the energy and me the trouble.
